Fashionista Finds – All Around Lima
So today´s post is a lot of randomness… but I hope you will enjoy my Peruvian loves… above is the posse I have been chillin´with! I never knew that I would make such good friends on a volunteer mission… score!
Visited a much loved Italian restaurant here in Lima… Mama Lola´s! Delicious in-house pizza´s and home made pastas… fresh, tasty and simplistic… hitting all the right spots… they also let you write on the walls, sooooooo… of course I had to represent!!!
Who knows… maybe someone will look it up randomnly from eating here… I will keep you posted! This world works in strange and mysterious ways, I don´t doubt the possibility…
Everybody gets to that ¨point¨while on vacation with their significant other where throwing them off the cliff seems like an amicable option… here I demonstrate with the babe :p Hehehehehehehe….
Yes… so that cliff pic was obviously taken before this one…
Incan ruins! They are so meticulously built and beautiful. Positioned towards the sea and the sun… they must have been absolutely gorgeous intact back in the day.
How beautiful is this message? Written on the walls of Mama Lola’s Italian Restaurant. Oh romance… {sigh}
Some super cool cactus plants
I am SUPER envious that they have Mc Donalds takeout… Montreal!!! Wake up!!! What are you waiting for?!?!
Alright, now I don’t know if this has any association whatsoever to thecoolhunter.net, but if it does (and even if it dosn’t), go directly here now. A site not to be missed *thank you*I’m off to bed now… catching a flight in a few hours up to Cuzco *Macchu Picchu town* Going to be very tired… but ready for all the shopping and natural beauty of the mountains! This week is all about being a tourist, so get ready for some pic heavy posts full of Peru’s best.

Fashionista Art Appreciation – Tara McPherson
There is just something about Tara McPherson’s art that I feel that I can relate to. As dark as some of her images may seem, they all bear a strong relation to emotions we all encounter and at one time or another experience.
Mixing in goth and eccentric notes makes for interesting and provoking cartoon like graphic art that cannot be surpassed. Her peices require your full attention to not miss the well defined and strategically placed detail.

Tattoo Mania!
Tattoos are EVERYWHERE these days… the beautiful expression of art etched into your skin… forever… Okay, I’m sorry – that was NOT supposed to sound as morbid as it did
I absolutely ADORE tattoos and truly believe that the people who pull them off always look completely unattainably cool… however I don’t know if I could ever be one of those people…. it just seems like a bit of a stretch for me.
Besides… I practically have ADD when it comes to EVERYTHING (lose interest pretty damn quickly… although that IS something I am working hard at), so picking just one design that I need to stick with for all of eternity seems like a pretty bad idea…
I once went for a consultation with a tattoo artist because I was utterly convinced I was going to get a Polynesian style bird design on my foot (bird = robin = Robyn *my name*… symbolism crap… I thought it was pretty clever too…). I was all prepared and psyched until he started telling me about how tattoos normally age… details blur into each other, colors fade, etc… I started to freak. You see, I don’t mind eternally altering my body for art… however it must keep looking good eternally! So, I backed out and that was the end of that!
I have never been able to find a design I am completely in love with or that holds significant symbolic relevance to me. I do know the addiction associated to getting a tattoo… the feeling that one is no longer enough, and you want one here and there… until finally your body is doused in them! I have a belly button piercing and LOVE it, and still to this day consider piercing all sorts of places… however at the end of the day I look at myself in the mirror and laugh – cause I would look like a total white trash fool if I did that to myself… I’m just too preppy or something… I don’t have the cool factor needed to successfully pull it off
Beside all of my tattoo paranoia, I think they are absolutely SPECTACULAR! They are everything their image portrays… sexy, intricate, meaningful, spectacular, mysterious… and mostly – a beautiful piece of ART!
And I truly believe that a tattoo tells you a maddening amount about who the person on the inside is… external beauty that represents inner. An excuse to bond, to question and meet with others… and that is exactly what the world needs – forms of unity expressed in different ways.
So, anybody DO have a tattoo/tattoos?
If you do, I’d love to see a pic that I could later feature in a post

Tag – I’m It!
I generally use MAC because I have a discount there and they have some amazing products, but also love YSL and Chanel.
Definately! How could you not? Montreal girls have got it going on! I check out the ladies every day when I’m walkin’ down the street for inspiration. They’ve got that “too cool” look to them mixed in with a kick of effortless sexiness.
Montreal has its own version of Ben & Jerry’s called Billboquet. They make homemade ice cream and only have two shops in town. My flavor is chocolate with white chocolate chunks, pecans and brownie pieces. For any ice cream conaisseur it is a delicacy!
If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be? So Here are the almighty rules…

For those who know me, you know I have a certain fetishistic nature towards certain fashion lines. No, not because of the status associated, not because everybody has approved of them and considers them in-fashion. Because they repeatedly give you the perfect fit every time. Styles that compliment and expand your lifestyle and breathe life into your wardrobe.
Pieces that become iconic. Staples. Beyond just your black and white basics – clothing with personalities of their own! Clothing that becomes your best friend all year round, and most importantly for many years to come!
Diane Von Furstenberg is an all time favorite. When I am not in jeans (and believe me, that is the only exception), I am wearing her tunics, wrap dresses, gorgeous black pants, and tailor trim cut blazers. Each piece oozes charm, and as a result I am constantly complimented.
Gorgeous Redheads
Is it just me, or do redheads seem to have all the fun? Crazy hair, fiery tempers… all around dangerous! Naturally gorgeous it seems and willing to walk on the wild side – I am seriously reconsidering brunette
